Let The Enemy Plot
There is a moment in every fight when you finally understand something important. You cannot stop the enemy from plotting. You cannot control their conversations. You cannot silence their gossip. You cannot prevent every lie or every scheme built in the shadows.
And you do not need to.
Plotting is not victory. Noise is not truth. Motion is not momentum. Most people forget this. They panic when they hear the rustling in the dark. They assume the enemy is gaining power simply because the enemy is busy. But the people who plot the most are usually the people who are losing ground.
One of the hardest lessons I have learned in Special Forces, in leadership, and in this long season of my life is simple. The enemy only plots when they cannot win in the light. Good people do not conspire. Honest people do not whisper. The righteous do not need strategy sessions behind closed doors.
So let them plot.
Let them gather around their tables and create their stories. Let them build their arguments on fear and imagination. Let them convince themselves that repetition will somehow turn lies into truth. Let them believe their numbers give them strength.
Let them plot because plots always crumble when they collide with truth.
I have seen this before
In combat I watched enemies spend weeks preparing ambushes that dissolved the moment we showed up with clarity and purpose. I watched people who thought they had every advantage melt down the second a disciplined team pushed forward without hesitation. I watched long held plans fall apart in minutes because they were built on panic, not principle.
The side that plots the most is usually the side that has lost the initiative. When you walk in truth you do not need to scramble. When you are aligned with purpose you do not need to hide. When you know who you are and who goes before you, you can remain calm while others panic.
Truth does not require a meeting
You do not need to match their energy. You do not need to defend yourself in every room. You do not need to chase every rumor. You do not need to run yourself into exhaustion trying to counter every narrative.
Stand still. Hold the line. Remain disciplined. Continue your work. Continue your mission.
Let the enemy spend their nights plotting. You use yours to rest. You use yours to recharge. You use yours to prepare for the moment when everything becomes clear.
God does not panic when people plot
Scripture is full of examples of enemies who planned, schemed and coordinated with absolute confidence. Every single time their plans collapsed because they underestimated one simple reality.
God sees everything.
He sees the motivations. He sees the lies. He sees the manipulation. He sees the traps being set. And He sees the truth standing quietly in the open while the enemy exhausts themselves in darkness.
Your job is simple
Walk in truth.
Hold your integrity.
Stay aligned with your purpose.
Keep moving forward.
Do not match their chaos.
Do not fear their noise.
Let the enemy plot. Let them think they have the upper hand. Let them become drunk on their own confidence.
When the truth finally arrives it does not knock. It walks straight in and everything that was built on lies collapses at once.
And when that happens you will be exactly where you need to be. Calm. Focused. Unshaken.

Really well said Mike. I pray your recovery is going well.
Well said and amen Mike!
