I am physically active every single day - either a workout or jiu-jitsu training. I also read everyday and listen to a podcast on the way to work in the morning. For sleep assistance, I take a sleep stack influenced by Andrew Huberman, comprised of L-theanine, Apigenin, and Magnesium Threonate.
A decade ago, my wrestling coach told me in order for me to get better I had to get stronger. I didn't understand but I also did not question. Any questions I had were irrelevant to the lesson he wanted me to grasp. I always showered in the morning, that's just what I did. He even offered to pick me up to save my energy. I learned quick that I had to adapt. I had to admit my backpack and day clothes the night before. When it was morning, dint get a shower just got to brush my teeth. I had to be squared away, his words were let your body give out not your mind. Next step in protocol, pull ups and inclined push-ups as fast as you can until you can't. When that kicked in my teammate spotted me on pull-ups. Coach made sure I felt the pain, he made sure I understood that it didn't get easier the more pull-ups it just came later. But when I needed to push through during a wrestling match I was familiar. I had been there before and I can push through and that's what mattered.
That's why mentally I still think I'm there, it's my ego. I can only finish the reps if I commit to it daily. The cold shower after a hot shower to decompress I never was conscious about until I watched a pro fighter speak on it and why he did it. It was just the process for me
I have to eat a good breakfast before work every morning, only like honey in my coffee! 1 cup and one cup of green tea mixed with ginger, I also eat every 3 hrs and only eat fruit and nuts for dinner! Shower before bed, always work my abs and obliques and do isolating muscle groups every other day, have to have at least 6 hrs of sleep! Valerian root and magnesium and zinc before bed😎

Meant to say also - I can't use CBD or THC products because of my profession.
