Brother, I love ya. And while my purpose keeps me motivated, it doesn’t always pay dividends, at least initially. Sometimes I find out later that the day I was down because I was asking what’s the point is the same day someone was super impacted but didn’t have the chance to tell me until days after. That said, what keeps me motivated even on the down days is God. I have a purpose, but I don’t act on it or seek to fulfill it except for Him. And He gives me what I need to do what I need to do for Him because it’s His show. My purpose is to encourage hope, healing, and growth in everyone I can and to help Christian men become godly and faithful men.

Now, I have to say, in line with that purpose, how God has used you in my life is astounding. I’m different. My wife is different. My little girl is better off. I’m a better man because of the man you’ve allowed God to make you into. I don’t say any of this to butter you up. I want to acknowledge you publicly, brother. You’re doing great things, and I can attest to their impact, even since you launched this Stack. So, even on the tough, really long, exhausting days, know that you’ve at least allowed God to use you to change this NC boy’s life, and I’m very grateful. Thank you. I can’t put money behind my gratitude, but I can at least speak into your life. I hope I have. Have a great day.

Remembering where you came from is a powerful motivator. Great stuff Mike.

What do you do when you get where you wanted to be but want to go further, and don't know where "further" is?

Love the perspective about the fox hole! Also, accountability for being where you are because of you! If we don’t like it then it’s time to do something to change it! I say this at work often.
